A personal introduction service

Marlow Matchmakers is operated by Sammy Saunders. Matchmaking involves getting to know your goals and preferences and exploring suitable introductions where matches are available. Compatibility, attraction and the choices of other people cannot be guaranteed. The service does not promise a relationship or marriage.

A discovery call or enquiry does not commit you to a membership or payment.

Before you join

Before payment, your written proposal should confirm the fee, duration, included consultations and support, the number or basis of introductions, what counts as an introduction, any availability limitations, payment arrangements and cancellation or refund terms.

Read these details before accepting. If an item is unclear, ask Sammy to clarify it in writing. Additional services, such as coaching or profile support, should be separately identified where they carry an extra charge.

No membership price or introduction allowance is agreed solely by viewing this website. Paid coaching is also subject to the Coaching Terms.

Profiles and introductions

You should provide accurate information relevant to the service and let Sammy know about material changes to your circumstances or preferences. Sammy will discuss the information needed for your profile and what may be shared with a prospective match.

An introduction depends on suitability and the other person’s willingness to participate. A proposal should explain how declined introductions, periods of limited availability, pauses and the end of a membership are handled.

Discretion and respect

Profiles, photographs, contact details and information about an introduction are confidential. Do not publish them, forward them to others or share them on social media without the person’s permission. This expectation continues after an introduction or membership ends.

Treat other clients and Sammy respectfully. Participation does not oblige anyone to meet, continue a conversation or pursue a relationship. You remain responsible for your own decisions about contact and meetings.

Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Notice and any additional information provided during onboarding. A separate confidentiality agreement may also apply where agreed.

Cancellation and refunds

If you book a service online, by phone or by email as a consumer, you will normally have 14 days from entering the contract to cancel without giving a reason. Tell Sammy clearly that you wish to cancel using the enquiry form or email.

If you expressly ask for work to begin within that period and then cancel, a proportionate charge may be payable for work already provided, where the required information and consent have been given. You lose the right to cancel a fully performed service within that period only where performance began with your express consent and acknowledgement of that consequence.

These statutory rights take priority over appointment notice periods and any package conditions. Nothing in these terms removes your rights where a service is not delivered with reasonable care and skill, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

After any statutory cancellation period, cancellation arrangements should reflect the agreed service and work already provided. Any retained payment or cancellation charge must be fair and proportionate. Contact Sammy promptly if you want to pause or end a service, so the position can be confirmed in writing.
